Original Mid Century 1950s Hans Figura Signed Aquatint Etching Silk Austrian Alps Chalet. Image features a winter scene: tall, snow-covered mountains, lower slopes with pine trees, a village of Swiss-style homes blanketed in snow on the left, and a church with a bell tower and large chalet on the right behind a wooden fence. There are animal tracks or footprints in the snow, along with what might be sleigh tracks.
Vintage condition: the silk is wavy under the glass, mat may have yellowed with age. The paper on the back is held on with old tape, and there are a couple of notes from the original owner. About 18" wide, 21 1/2" tall. Please see photos.
