This is the European Magazine from January to June 1791, and is coincidentally a very important piece of American History.

Kentucky History: Included is a 3 page write up of the account of the "Adventures of Col. Daniel Boone, one of the original settlers of Kentucky written by himself (pg 13). This is a self written account of him fighting with the Native American Indians over territory , buying land off of the Cherokee Indians at the Kentucky river, mentions of Boonesborough settlement getting attacked, one of Boone's daughters taken prisoner near the fort and Boone went to recapture the kidnapped girls, and more accounts from that time. This is a rare, almost real time account of Daniel Boone's life, since it was written in 1791 just after all these historical events occured and while Boone was still young and alive.

This example does not contain its original bookplates.
